Job Summary The Machine Operator operates production machine(s) that packages a variety of products. Essential Job Duties Reads schedule to obtain work orders and volume of packages to be produced. Selects, positions, and secures packaging such as film, cubes, boxes, containers, etc. Positions and secures proper former and loads hopper with correct product. Moves controls to adjust print and checks seals for quality (bags). Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of packaging to specifications. Labels boxes that have been inspected and signed off by supervisor. Packages packaging in labeled boxes and loads pallets for shipment. Cleans and maintains work area and equipment. Able to be forklift certified (if needed). Able to work overtime and weekends when needed. Follow and practice safety rules and regulations.
