Ensure all laundry and associated areas meet Company standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance through daily inspections and ongoing monitoring. Oversee valet services, ensuring prompt, consistent, and high-quality delivery that meets or exceeds guest and crew expectations. Manage the day-to-day operations of the Laundry department, focusing on workflow efficiency, product quality, and on-time delivery to operating departments. Supervise, coach, and develop Laundry team members, clearly communicating role expectations, conducting performance appraisals, and identifying talent for advancement. Provide training on the correct use of machinery, chemical handling, product processing, and safety procedures. Maintain a safe, motivated, and productive work environment with open and regular communication. Monitor inventory and coordinate with the Hotel Storekeeper to ensure adequate supplies while minimizing waste and ensuring cost-effective usage. Ensure all equipment is used according to manufacturer specifications and promptly report and follow up on maintenance needs to the Technical Department. Maintain compliance with Company policies, Public Health standards, fleet regulations, and all relevant internal and external audit requirements. Support onboard emergency procedures and fulfill General Emergency Organization duties as assigned. Promote and demonstrate Company values, acting as an ambassador of Princess Cruises and fostering respectful, culturally aware working relationships.
