About this role
We’re looking for a hardworking and customer-focused Yard Team Member to support the day-to-day operations of our yard and store. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming environment for our members and customers, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the business. Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time Hours of Work: 37.5 Hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days, including weekends. As a Yard Team Member, you’ll play a key role in stock handling, customer service, and maintaining high standards across external areas. You’ll support the Stock Supervisor and wider team to ensure efficient operations and a positive experience for everyone who visits the store. Key responsibilities include: • Delivering excellent customer service at the counter and across the yard • Receiving, checking, and loading stock accurately and efficiently • Supporting Point of Sale operations when required • Maintaining external areas to a high standard of presentation • Investigating stock discrepancies and supporting seasonal stock reviews • Participating in stocktaking and maintaining stock file integrity • Following health & safety procedures and UFAS regulations
