Why This ER Role Stands Out High-acuity, fast-paced emergency medicine Strong collaboration with ICU, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Oncology Flexible full-time scheduling options Clear pathways for advanced skill development and credentialing A culture that values clinical excellence, autonomy, and teamwork Schedule & Shift Options Full-Time ER Position Multiple shifts available: 3pm - 3am 4pm - 4am 5pm - 5am 2 weekdays & 1 weekend day REQUIRED Emergency & Triage Care Assist with emergency triage, stabilization, and urgent interventions Perform rapid patient assessments and initiate treatment protocols Support emergency procedures including CPR, oxygen therapy, and shock management Advanced Technical Skills Perform technical procedures including: IV catheter placement Blood draws and point-of-care diagnostics Radiographs Anesthesia induction and monitoring Administer medications via IV, IM, SQ, and oral routes Assist with wound care, splinting, and emergency surgical prep Patient Monitoring & Nursing Care Monitor ER patients throughout treatment and recovery Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in high-stress situations Client Communication & Documentation Support veterinarians with client updates and discharge education Maintain detailed, accurate medical records Ensure continuity of care during patient transfers to ICU or specialty services Team Collaboration Work closely with ER doctors, ICU, and specialty teams Participate in case discussions and handoffs Contribute to a positive, solution-oriented ER culture
