OBJECTIVE The ideal candidate is a dynamic, hands-on Engineering Manager with a strong background in data platform architecture and cybersecurity platforms. The ideal candidate will combine technical leadership with strategic vision to drive platform development, scale secure data systems, and manage high-performing engineering teams. This role is key to strengthening our security posture and enabling scalable, reliable data pipelines that serve internal and customer-facing applications. Primary Objectives in this Role: · Lead and mentor the engineering teams building our core data and cybersecurity platforms into world class teams. · Own architectural decisions and platform strategy for high-availability, high-security systems. · Foster a strong engineering culture grounded in innovation, accountability, and collaboration. Manage, mentor, and grow a team of software and platform engineers working on data infrastructure and security systems. · Oversee the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable data ingestion, processing, and governance systems. · Lead the implementation of cybersecurity platforms including threat detection, data encryption, identity and access management, and audit logging systems. · Collaborate cross-functionally with product, security, compliance, and analytics teams to align platform capabilities with business goals. · Ensure adherence to security and privacy standards · Drive roadmap planning, sprint execution, and performance evaluations for your team. · Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and resource planning for the engineering group. · Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and regulatory requirements in data and security domains. · All other duties and projects as assigned.
