Responsibilities: We lead end-to-end SAP project and programme delivery across SAP HR, SuccessFactors, S/4HANA, Finance, Procurement, and Corporate Services platforms.We manage delivery through all project lifecycle phases, including business case, design, build, testing, deployment, cutover, hypercare, and benefits realisation.We lead SAP transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and technology roadmaps.We establish and maintain robust SAP governance, project controls, RAID management, and reporting processes.We manage project budgets, forecasts, capital expenditure, and financial performance.We provide commercial oversight of SAP implementation partners, system integrators, and third-party suppliers.We ensure successful integration across SAP modules, business processes, technical teams, and external suppliers.We lead SAP cutover planning, deployment activities, and transition into operational support.We identify, assess, and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues across complex SAP delivery environments.We build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, business process owners, and executive sponsors.We drive decision making through investment boards, steering committees, and governance forums.We ensure SAP solutions deliver agreed business outcomes, operational improvements, and return on investment.We champion SAP delivery best practice, continuous improvement, and lessons learned across the portfolio.We deliver large-scale SAP projects and programmes from initiation through to closure.We manage multi-disciplinary SAP delivery teams, including Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Testing Managers, and Change Managers.We drive successful SAP implementations, upgrades, migrations, and optimisation initiatives.We lead SAP vendor and partner management activities.We maintain project governance frameworks aligned to our delivery standards.We provide accurate and timely reporting on project health, finances, risks, and milestones.We ensure compliance with architecture, security, audit, and change requirements.We lead project stage gates and investment approval activities.We ensure SAP solutions align with business objectives and approved business cases.We define, measure, and track benefits throughout the project lifecycle.We support organisational change activities to maximise user adoption and business value.We drive process improvement and operational efficiencies through SAP-enabled transformation.We manage SAP project budgets and forecasts.We monitor capital and operational expenditure.We ensure delivery remains within approved funding envelopes.We provide financial insight and recommendations to support investment decisions. We are Yorkshire Water, a water utility company based in the Yorkshire region of England, serving more than 5.4 million people and visitors across the region with clean drinking water and wastewater services. This is a permanent IT SAP Project Manager role within our Project Management team, working 37 hours per week on a hybrid basis, initially in Bradford and later at our Leeds Valley Park office from summer 2026, with 1–2 days a week in the office.
