Requirements: Active SC Security Clearance is essential.Strong hands-on software development experience with C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core.Experience developing applications in Microsoft Azure Cloud environments.Experience with Azure PaaS services including App Services, Azure Functions, Storage Accounts, Service Bus and Azure Key Vault.Technical skills in C#, .NET, Azure, REST APIs, service integration, and object-oriented design principles.Experience with Git source control and GitHub-based workflows.Experience using GitHub Copilot AI tools to support development.Experience working in Agile delivery teams.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and software engineering best practice.Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Experience maintaining technical documentation in SharePoint, Wiki, Git, or similar repositories. We are offering a 3 to 6 month contract for a .NET Developer based in Taunton, working in a hybrid setup with primarily remote working and travel to our Taunton, Somerset office typically three times per month. This is an opportunity to work with a leading global IT transformation team on a large-scale Government project. The role is outside IR35, paying up to £470 per day, with an immediate start expected during Summer 2026.
