Requirements: Proven Business Analyst experience within infrastructure, security, cloud, or remote access transformation programmesStrong understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), remote access workflows, application delivery, and user personasExperience with Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) or similar secure remote access technologiesExposure to Operational Technology (OT) and IoT environments, including connectivity and security considerationsExperience working within retail or FMCG environments, ideally supporting store-based technologyStrong requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management skillsExperience producing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation for engineering and delivery teamsAbility to translate technical concepts into clear business languageStrong analytical mindset with the ability to identify gaps, dependencies, and risks across complex environmentsUnderstanding of identity, access management, and cloud security principlesExperience with Active Directory, Entra ID, or hybrid identity environmentsKnowledge of zero trust architecture, segmentation, and secure access modelsExposure to POS systems, handheld devices, and store technology platformsExperience supporting UAT and validation activitiesFamiliarity with Agile delivery environments and sprint-based delivery models Responsibilities: Lead workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions across corporate, retail, and OT environmentsGather, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements related to remote access, AVD, Zscaler, and secure connectivityMap current-state and future-state processes, identifying gaps, risks, pain points, and undocumented dependenciesProduce high-quality documentation including BRDs, user stories, process maps, data flows, decision logs, and acceptance criteriaWork closely with technical and architecture teams to ensure requirements are feasible and aligned to solution designSupport solution option analysis, highlighting business impacts, dependencies, and risksCapture retail and store-specific requirements including POS systems, handheld devices, IoT sensors, and operational workflowsSupport OT remote access requirements including segmentation, secure device connectivity, and operational constraintsEnsure requirements traceability throughout delivery, testing, UAT, and operational handoverAct as the bridge between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and clear communication throughout the programme lifecycle Technologies: Active DirectoryAzureCloudIoTSupportSecurityDevOps More:
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Business Analyst to support a major remote access transformation programme across corporate, retail, and operational technology environments within a large-scale FMCG business. This is a contract position offering £700 per day, inside IR35, with hybrid working and three days onsite in Paddington. The initial contract length is 3 to 6 months.
