Requirements: Active SC Security Clearance is essential.Strong hands-on experience with F5, Zscaler, and Palo Alto security technologies.Experience with firewalls and network security.Telecoms industry experience is preferred.Advantageous experience with Check Point, Juniper, Bluecoat, Cisco Network Solutions, Cisco IPT, QoS, 802.1x, Infoblox DNS, switches, wireless, VPNs, and WAN routing protocols. Responsibilities: We will provide technical ownership of the customer security infrastructure estate, including processes, procedures, documentation, and lifecycle management.We will act as the technical point of contact and escalation point for security-related changes, modifications, and projects for firewall rule bases.We will provide technical support and change management for hard physical changes and soft remote changes.We will manage customer inventory, hardware, software, and end-of-life activities.We will be the technical point of contact for vendor support on security infrastructure incidents.We will design customer networks and support both high-level design and low-level design activities. We are a global IT consultancy supporting a leading telecoms end client on a 6-month contract basis. This is a UK remote role with occasional travel to customer sites in Wokingham, Corsham, Farnborough, and Warwick. The contract is outside IR35 at £380 per day, with an expected start in July or August 2026. The vast majority of the work will be remote, and active SC Security Clearance is required.
