Requirements: Active DV Clearance is mandatory.Proven experience delivering infrastructure testing within secure, complex, or enterprise-scale environments.Strong understanding of the full testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.Experience producing test strategies, test plans, test scripts, and supporting test evidence.Hands-on experience with functional, non-functional, and performance testing.Ability to work independently within highly secure environments.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Desirable experience in one or more of the following areas: Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Windows Server administration, proxy services and proxy chaining, enterprise authentication and access management, end-user computing and desktop service validation, DNS infrastructure, VMware vSphere and virtualisation, infrastructure services testing and validation, enterprise network services and platform testing, performance, resilience, and failover testing within virtualised environments. Responsibilities: Develop, review, and execute Infrastructure Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Scripts, and Test Cases.Perform functional, integration, system, performance, and operational testing across complex infrastructure environments.Manage defects throughout the full lifecycle, including identification, logging, tracking, and validation of fixes.Produce comprehensive test evidence, reporting, and assurance documentation.Validate infrastructure deployments against technical, operational, and business requirements.Support test readiness reviews, execution activities, and operational acceptance processes.Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineers, Architects, Service Delivery teams, and third-party suppliers.Identify testing risks, issues, and dependencies, providing mitigation recommendations where required.Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tooling. We are seeking two experienced DV Cleared Infrastructure Test Engineers / Test SMEs to support a high-profile, secure infrastructure programme in Hampshire on an onsite basis. This is an initial 12-month contract paying £500-£600 per day outside IR35. You will play a key role in delivery assurance for critical infrastructure platforms and services, working closely with engineering, architecture, and service delivery teams in a complex, mission-critical environment.
