Salary: £70,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements: Active SC or DV Clearance required.Experience with several of the following: hardware and infrastructure engineering in Defence, Government or secure environments.Experience with enterprise server, storage and networking technologies.Experience with VMware ESXi, Hyper-V or other virtualisation platforms.Experience with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.Experience with networking, firewalls and infrastructure troubleshooting.Experience with hardware deployment, lifecycle management and vendor engagement.Strong communication skills and the ability to work within Agile delivery teams. Responsibilities: Design, deploy and support hardware and infrastructure solutions.Build and maintain physical servers, storage and networking equipment.Manage virtualised environments such as VMware ESXi, Hyper-V or similar.Administer Windows Server and Linux environments.Configure LAN, WAN, VLANs and firewall technologies.Support hardware deployments, testing and live operational activities.Manage hardware lifecycle activities, upgrades and asset management.Produce technical documentation and work closely with customers and project teams.
