Salary: £60,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements: Strong experience in software testing and test automation.Experience building automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar.Experience testing APIs and modern web applications.Familiarity with Java, JavaScript or similar technologies.Experience working within Agile and DevSecOps environments.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated quality assurance processes.Experience with functional, integration, regression and system testing.Experience working within Defence, National Security or other secure government environments would be highly desirable.Current UK Security Clearance is required. Responsibilities: Design and develop automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar tools.Develop and execute automated API and UI test suites.Support functional, integration, regression, system and acceptance testing activities.Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.Create test strategies, plans and test cases from business and technical requirements.Investigate, manage and track software defects through to resolution.Produce test reports, quality metrics and release assurance documentation.Collaborate with Agile delivery teams throughout sprint planning, refinement, reviews and retrospectives.Promote automation best practice and continuous improvement across engineering teams. We are partnering with a highly respected technology consultancy delivering secure software and engineering services for some of the UKs most complex government and defence programmes. We specialise in developing mission-critical data within highly secure environments, supporting national security, intelligence and defence customers. Our engineering teams use modern Agile and DevSecOps practices to deliver secure, resilient software solutions and services using the latest technologies. This is a London-based hybrid role with office working required four days a week. The position offers a salary of £65,000 to £75,000 and benefits including 25 days holiday, private healthcare, pension, life assurance, flexible benefits, professional development, retail discounts and a wellbeing programme. The interview process is three stages: an initial Teams interview, a technical interview and a final office-based interview.
