About this role

Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements: We require extensive experience managing IT infrastructure and networking within manufacturing environments.We require solid knowledge of OT systems such as SCADA, PLCs, and IoT devices, as well as IT systems like PLM, MES, and simulation tools.We require strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to manage risks and develop contingency plans.We require proven ability to work with regulators, business partners, and third-party contractors to address concerns and manage expectations.We require a bachelors or masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Preferred certifications include CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft System Administration. Responsibilities: We collaborate with teams across IT, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain to drive successful outcomes and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.We manage and optimise IT infrastructure and networking systems within a high-volume manufacturing environment, ensuring maximum uptime and operational reliability.We translate manufacturing operational needs into robust IT requirements and support infrastructure expansion for future growth.We act as the primary IT liaison for manufacturing, ensuring systems are responsive and aligned with business needs.We implement cybersecurity best practices across IT and operational technology environments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.We deliver effective IT training programmes to empower end users and enhance digital fluency.
