Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements: A degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.Proven Systems Engineering experience across the product development lifecycle.Experience leading technical teams or acting as a technical authority.Knowledge of sensor systems and RF communications.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Current SC Clearance.Experience in Electronic Warfare (EA, ES, ECM, ESM or RF Cyber) would be highly beneficial.Experience with Software Defined Radios (SDR) would be highly beneficial.Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) would be highly beneficial.Experience with FPGA technologies would be highly beneficial.Experience with RF systems and antennas would be highly beneficial.Experience with open architectures such as SOSA, OpenVPX, MORA, OpenCPI or STICS would be highly beneficial.Experience with Agile, SAFe, Waterfall or Spiral delivery methodologies would be highly beneficial.Experience with technical risk and RAID management would be highly beneficial. Responsibilities: Lead system design activities across the full engineering lifecycle.Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary engineering teams.Develop innovative solutions from concept through to delivery.Work closely with customers to understand requirements and shape technical solutions.Support bids, research activities and technology development programmes.Manage technical risks and ensure projects meet performance, quality and delivery objectives.Contribute to equipment trials, integration activities and rapid prototyping where required.Act as a System Design Authority and ensure solutions are delivered to the highest technical standards.
