Salary: £90,000 - 120,000 per year
Requirements: We have excelled at university, with a 1st or 2.1 STEM degree from a top-ranked university.We have extensive industry experience building mission-critical software products used in live environments.We are an individual contributor and software polyglot, with recent project experience using Rust, ideally across the wider Rust ecosystem.We have worked in one or more start-ups and understand how to deliver successfully in fast-paced environments.We have experience using LLMs for code prototyping.We can demonstrate leadership qualities through technical leadership, mentoring, motivation, inspiration, and contributions to company strategy and business.We are based in London or able to travel to London for quarterly in-person strategy meetings.We have full, unrestricted rights to work in the UK. Responsibilities: We work closely with the CTO and software team in a senior software engineer role combining technical lead and individual contributor responsibilities.We build efficient, optimal code bases using Rust and C/C++.We mentor junior team members.We project manage fast-paced technical work.We provide technical and strategic insight to the business.We use modern ML tools, including LLMs, for prototyping while maintaining strong technical judgment.We occasionally travel overseas for client meetings.
