Salary: £34,000 - 42,000 per year
Requirements: Experience working in a data centre environment, including IMACD and hardware deploymentKnowledge of structured cabling, including copper and fibre, and data centre standardsExperience with ticketing and asset management systemsStrong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and proceduresAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentFlexible approach to shift work, including nights and weekendsCompetent in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and ExcelCompTIA A+, Network+ or similar IT certifications are desirableExperience within a banking or enterprise IT environment is desirablePrevious data centre or structured cabling certifications, such as BICSI, are desirable Responsibilities: Deliver IMACD services, including installations, moves, upgrades, refreshes, and decommissions of IT infrastructureRack, stack, and decommission servers, network hardware, and associated equipment within data centre environmentsInstall, manage, label, trace, and recover structured cabling, including copper and fibre, in line with client standardsProvide first-line hardware and infrastructure support, including component swaps, diagnostics, and assisted fault resolutionSupport incident and change management processes by following approved procedures and escalation pathsMaintain accurate documentation, asset records, work orders, and ticket updates within client and our systemsCarry out technology space inspections and ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintainedEscort and supervise third-party vendors and client teams working within secure technology areasEnsure full compliance with health and safety, quality, and client-specific operational requirementsParticipate in shift handovers, 24x7 rota coverage, and out-of-hours or weekend activities as required Technologies: ExcelHardwareSupportNetwork More:
