Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year
Requirements: We are looking for someone with experience in an IT Infrastructure, 2nd Line or 3rd Line support role.We would value experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365.We would value experience with Azure cloud technologies.We would value experience with VMware vSphere and virtualisation.We would value experience with SQL Server environments.We would value experience with LAN, WAN and firewall technologies.We would value experience with Linux, ideally Ubuntu.We would value knowledge of cyber security best practice.We would value strong technical documentation and knowledge-sharing skills.We would value strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.Experience in manufacturing environments would be advantageous.Experience with AWS, GCP, SAN storage, SSL certificate management or emerging AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT would be advantageous. Responsibilities: We deliver 2nd and 3rd line support across core infrastructure technologies.We support Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.We maintain VMware, on-premise infrastructure and virtualised platforms.We assist with networking, firewall and security technologies.We contribute to infrastructure projects from planning through to implementation.We create clear technical documentation and share knowledge across our wider IT team.We help maintain secure, resilient and highly available IT services across the business.
