Salary: £60,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements: Commercial experience developing IBM i / RPG applications.Experience maintaining and modernising business-critical applications.Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.RPG experience across multiple versions, including legacy and modern RPG.ILE.SQL.CLP.IBM i OS.Query 400 and DFU.Experience using an IDE such as VS Code or RDI. Responsibilities: We develop, enhance, test and support applications for a wide range of customer projects.We analyse business requirements and design effective software solutions.We produce technical documentation for new developments and application enhancements.We build a strong understanding of client business processes and application landscapes to provide effective long-term support.We manage software changes from requirements gathering through to implementation.We deliver training and knowledge transfer to customers where appropriate. This is a hybrid role based on client site in Leeds and our office in Milton Keynes, with office attendance once a month. The role offers a salary of £60,000 to £65,000 plus bonus and benefits.
