Salary: £90,000 - 120,000 per year
Requirements: 4-7+ years of institutional finance analyst experience.Background in IB credit, DCM, leveraged finance, PE/credit, or asset management.Strong understanding of IC memos, financial models, and analyst workflows.Self-taught coding skills in Python, SQL, and basic scripting.Ability to prototype and automate workflows using tools such as Excel, Python, and LangChain.Experience building something with LLMs within the last 12 months, such as a RAG pipeline, agentic workflow, or document automation.Ability to bridge analyst and CTO conversations, translate business problems into technical requirements, explain AI limitations, and push back on scope creep. Responsibilities: Shadow credit analysts at PE firms and asset managers to understand and reverse-engineer their workflows.Design multi-step AI agent logic to automate workflows such as IC memos, deal screening, portfolio monitoring, and credit risk analysis.Prototype and ship V1 solutions in days and present them to partners and C-suite stakeholders.Manage scope, drive adoption, and hand prototypes to engineers for productization.Act as a hands-on individual contributor embedded with clients.Translate client needs into practical AI solutions and product strategies. This is a permanent AI Solutions Engineer role based in London with 3 days on-site. The compensation includes a £90,000-£120,000 base salary, a 20-30% bonus, and equity.
