Salary: £65,000 - 110,000 per year
Requirements: A deep understanding of integrated multi-site systems and the creation and implementation of resilient mission-critical electronic and communication systems.Experience specifying individual equipment components and module build standards that ensure resilience, and reviewing and creating resilient system designs for connectivity and power.Extensive experience designing, deploying, and managing mission-critical systems in challenging environments, ideally gained in the military, critical civil facilities, or oil and gas sectors.Demonstrated experience leading system-of-systems integration across platforms, sensors, networks, and mission systems.An experienced, talented, proactive, and ambitious network engineering professional seeking a hands-on technical role. Responsibilities: Provide overall architectural and technical design authority for our Maritime Domain Awareness deployment in the field.Oversee network connectivity, environmental ruggedisation, power supply, and ancillary support systems across our global projects.Ensure our systems are rugged and resilient and continue to provide reliable service even when faced with natural and man-made disasters.Review equipment specifications to ensure suitability and review build specifications for system modules to ensure they are rugged and independent.Review supporting system connectivity and power architectures to ensure multiple layers of backup and resilience.Lead technical integration efforts across platforms, sensors, data links, applications, networks, and command-and-control systems, coordinating across partners and stakeholders.Work closely with our system development, product management, and project engineering teams to specify the network and physical system architecture of the systems and equipment modules we deploy worldwide.
