Salary: £70,000 - 100,000 per year
Requirements: Strong hands-on experience with the Azure AI ecosystem, including Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, and Cognitive Services.Experience with LLM application design, including RAG, prompt engineering, and orchestration frameworks.Experience with agentic or autonomous AI systems.5+ years in senior engineering roles with experience leading technical teams.Strong technical AI engineering skills combined with team leadership and team management experience. Responsibilities: Lead the design, delivery, and scaling of enterprise-grade AI engineering strategy and capabilities.Act as a player-coach by combining hands-on engineering leadership with team management.Build high-performing teams and deliver production AI solutions.Embed security, governance, and reliability into all AI workloads.Oversee AI platform engineering and delivery.Develop agentic AI and orchestration capabilities.Ensure AI security, safety, and governance.Support cloud and infrastructure engineering.Lead team development.Engage stakeholders and contribute to AI strategy. We are a thriving STEM business investing in our Artificial Intelligence AI Engineering team. This is a new and exclusive opportunity to join us as an Artificial Intelligence AI Engineering Manager. We offer a hybrid working model with our team based in London or Glasgow, with 1 or 2 days a week in the office and flexibility for home working. This role reports to our Director of Artificial Intelligence AI and focuses on building and scaling enterprise AI capabilities across our Core AI / Applied AI Platforms team.
