Salary: £50,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Virtual Networks, virtual machines, storage, and Azure ADExperience with PaaS services such as App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, and SQLExperience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor and Log AnalyticsScripting skills using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash, or PythonGood understanding of networking, security, and identity in cloud environmentsMinimum three years experience in a similar roleExperience working within ITIL v4 or ITIL v5 frameworksRelevant apprenticeship or higher educationOne or more of the following certifications would be advantageous: Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate AZ-104, Microsoft Azure Developer Associate AZ-204, Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate AZ-700, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert AZ-305 Responsibilities: Support and enable our Microsoft technology stack through IT change and problem management, following ITIL v4 guidelinesTroubleshoot IT problems in a highly secure environment and work closely with internal colleagues and external suppliers to resolve issues promptlyWork with the Systems Architect to design, implement, and maintain solutions within our Microsoft technical stackPartner with stakeholders to improve team processes using Power Platform and automationSupport our bespoke workshop management system and wider technical environment, including Microsoft technologies, Meraki networking, SaaS solutions, and SSO-managed accessSupport IT governance by following security best practices and disaster recovery plans, and escalate concerns, risks, and cyber incidents to IT leadershipMaintain detailed documentation for system configuration, procedures, and troubleshootingWork with the Helpdesk team to remove blockers and resolve incidents and service requestsProvide guidance and support to the wider IT team on infrastructure design and buildShare information regarding system and device performance and error logsDesign, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, and identity servicesManage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud platforms aligned to the Azure Well-Architected FrameworkImplement and maintain Azure landing zones, subscriptions, and management groupsEnsure platforms comply with security, compliance, and governance standards, including RBAC, Key Vault, network security, and loggingApply best practices for cost control, monitoring, and operational resilienceSupport disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity designs across Azure workloadsWork closely with the solution architect, product team, and security teams to align cloud solutions with business needsProvide input into Technical Design Authority, Change Steering Groups, architecture reviews, and project deliveryProduce and maintain clear technical documentationCommute to our Stansted office for a hybrid working arrangement of two days per weekExplore new technologies that can help develop skills and competencies across the business and for individuals Technologies: ArchitectAzureBashCloudSupportITILNetworkPaaSPowerShellPythonRBACSQLSecurityDevOps More:
