The role provides strong financial leadership, supports business strategy and governance, and mitigates financial and reputational risk. - This position is based in teh Finance Division (Kariega)</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Overall responsibility for financial accounting and reporting, including preparation and transmission of FACTS reporting to the parent company.</li> <li>Oversight of the preparation of Company and Group consolidated Annual Financial Statements.</li> <li>Overall accountability for inventory accounting and control, product and component costing.</li> <li>Ensure integrity of management accounting data to support decision-making.</li> <li>Oversight of Accounts Payable management.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to IFRS and VW Group Accounting Guidelines.</li> <li>Responsibility for accounting and claims processes under the Automotive Production and Development Programme (APDP); Production Incentive (PI) benefits and EUR1 calculations.</li> <li>Management of Automotive Investment Scheme (AIS) benefit applications and claims.</li> <li>Liaison with Group Accounting, External Auditors, Benefit Fund Administrators and Government stakeholders.</li> <li>Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting systems, policies and procedures.</li> <li>Provide strategic financial leadership and act as a trusted business advisor.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>REQUIREMENTS</b></H2> </div><div><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Chartered Accountant CA(SA) or</li> </ul> <p>BCom Accounting Honours Degree with completed articles</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Work Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Completed articles with strong financial reporting experience</li> <li>Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in a financial accounting environment</li> <li>Experience in complex regulatory, audit and reporting environments preferred</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Technical & Behavioral Competencies:</strong></p> <ul> <li>In-depth knowledge of financial guidelines, IFRS and accounting principles</li> <li>Strong financial and analytical capability with strategic thinking ability</li> <li>Ability to translate complex financial data into executive-level insights</li> <li>Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills</li> <li>Strong leadership and people management capability</li> <li>High level of integrity and sound business judgment</li> <li>Commercial and business acumen</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>NOTE</b></H2> </div><div><p>Please ensure that you upload:</p> <p>Updated CV</p> <p>Certified copies of qualifications</p> <p>Certified copy of ID document</p> <p> </p> <p>⚠️ Important: Applications without all required documents and late applications will not be considered.</p></div></div></div><p>If you are a dynamic and proactive professional eager to contribute to Volkswagen Group Africa’s ongoing success, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p> </p> <p>📌 Ready to grow with us?
