The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of warehouse personnel. In addition, they will coordinate all distribution center functions and perform continuous improvement projects to attain high safety, production and quality standards.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt">LOCATION: Mississauga, Ontario</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt">SHIFT: 1st Shift</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt"> </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>Job Functions / Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Plans operations and assigns work to warehouse associates to attain production objectives.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Establishes and controls procedures to meeting production schedules, recommending improvements in production methods, equipment, operating efficiency and safe working conditions.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Responsible for developing, training and mentoring team members to enhance distribution center and PACCAR business knowledge.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Recommends or initiates personnel actions including promotions, transfers, interviewing, disciplinary measures, in accordance with company policies and procedures. </span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Responsible for the accuracy and timely completion of performance appraisals. Provides effective coaching and feedback on a regular basis to direct reports.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Maintains necessary records and coordinates activities with internal and external customers as necessary.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Proactive in promoting positive working relationships with all employees, and effectively communicating company policies and guidelines and procedures.
