Are you highly organised and driven with a passion for providing the highest standards of patient care? We are seeking an experienced administrator to support and co-ordinate the risk and governance pathways within the Head and Neck team at University Hospitals Dorset.
This is an exciting time to join our team, as we work towards completion of the transformation process of all Head and Neck services within UHD. You will play a critical role in policy and procedure development for our newly re-structured teams, helping to shape the future of our service provision across Dorset.
Main duties of the job
To coordinate and support the process for investigating and responding to concerns,complaintsand incidents for the directorate.
To provide administrative support for clinical governance meetingsandmultidisciplinary team(MDT)meetings across the directorate.
To provide administrative support forrisk and governancereporting.
To providerisk and governancesupport and cover for the administration processeswithin the directorate as and whenrequired.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Directorate Management Team and Care Group Risk and Governance Co-ordinator to ensure that communication is effective andtimely.
Work collaboratively with and accept guidance from the Patient Experience Team and be the point of contactshould there be any queryregardinga complaint or concern
Triage and fully understand complaints,concernsandincidents;breakingdown the issues to understand who will to be involved inthe investigation and response.
Ensure that the available information or evidence provided is reviewed for relevancy and entirety.
Deal with queries involving confidential documentsregardinga wide variety of information, recognising when issues should be referred and to whom.
