Job summary
University Hospitals Dorset is seeking a friendly hardworking, reliable person to support the Catering team to provide great customer service in our busy restaurants and coffee bars. Duties include serving food and drink items, operating a till, refilling of stock and general cleaning duties.
Base Location: Poole Hospital

Main duties of the job
As a member of the catering team, you'll be responsible for providing an efficient, high-quality service to staff, patients and visitors, operating in compliance with corporate and local policies and procedures
About us

Experience Essential
Experience in a busy Catering / Retail environment
Desirable
Experience in working in a customer facing role Experience of operating a till
Qualification Essential
Good standard of Education (GCSE's Grade D or above)
Desirable
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Health and Food Safety Qualifications Relevant further training eg Allergens Awareness
Other Essential
Good standard of Numeracy and Literacy Good general understanding of the Catering / Retail industry Able to work as part of a team and mix with other members of staff Openness to change and ability to respond quickly to tasks
Desirable
Able to work on own initiative and follow clear instructions
