Job summary
We are excited to offer the opportunity for a registered clinician to join the multi-agency team supporting neuro-diverse children and young people in Manchester as a triage team leader. The post holder will lead on implementing a multi-agency triage panel in Manchester for referrals for neuro-developmental assessments. This is an exciting opportunity to build links with colleagues across agencies. The post holder will also contribute to the development of a needs led offer of care by identifying service gaps and supporting the implementation of interventions to meet these. The post holder will contribute to the delivery of workshops and training, They will work closely with the navigator team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to bring their expertise to the development of this innovative service, to work alongside community colleagues and to be part of co-production with our parent carer forum.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder's duties will include establishing and managing a multi-agency triage panel. This will include sharing new pathways with all partners, working dynamically to support capacity of panel to meet the demand, and identifying gaps in support. The post holder will contribute to service development, offer interventions such as workshops, multi-agency liaison, consultation and training of other clinicians and partners as appropriate. They will have the opportunity to contribute to neuro-developmental assessments and will provide needs led support to children and families in conjunction with other members of the team.

Qualifications Essential
You must have a recognised qualification. Recognised qualifications are: -Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or equivalent) as accredited by the BPS -Registered Nursing: RMN/RSCN/RNMH -Social Work (CQSW/DipSW) You must be registered/accredited with a professional body, e.g. NMC, SW England, UKCP, HCPC, BACP
Desirable
ADOS-2 trained. Certificate in supervision skills. Additional post graduate training course in an area of specialist practice.
Knowledge Essential
Knowledge of legislation and national guidance in relation to the needs of children and young people. Understanding of the principles of Clinical Governance and a willingness to follow Trust Policy and Procedures Knowledge of assessment guidelines for social communication/ neurodevelopmental difficulties.

Working knowledge of professional systems involved in work with children
Training and Experience Essential
Substantial experience of working within multi agency setting and complex care systems Experience in leading on projects and developing services, including writing Standard Operating Procedures Experience of supervision and managing colleagues Experience of exercising full clinical responsibility for clients' psychological care and treatment independently and within a multidisciplinary and multiagency context. Experience of consulting with health care and other professionals and working within multidisciplinary teams. Experience of teaching, training and/or professional and clinical supervision. Experience of liaison and working with a range of other relevant agencies and professionals, including managing difficult conversations and differences of opinion.
