If interested, please apply directly.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Buyer III to join the dynamic Industrial Robotics Group. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting our procurement and supply chain functions, focusing on construction materials and services. This position requires a strategic thinker who can partner with internal stakeholders to enhance our procurement processes and supplier performance.Responsibilities
• Partner with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations to develop purchase requirements, submit Purchase Orders (POs), identify potential suppliers, and support supplier performance management. • Develop efficient, data-driven systems and reporting dashboards using Tableau to monitor PO status, delivery timelines, and supply chain KPIs. • Manage and support procurement tools such as Coupa, JIRA, PLM, and ERP/MRP systems, providing configuration, troubleshooting, and expert guidance. • Leverage AI and analytics to identify cost savings, working capital improvements, and process optimizations across the procurement lifecycle. • Collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing Manager and Engineering to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end data analytical solutions that drive sourcing decisions. • Understand stakeholder needs beyond data requests, translating business goals into actionable insights. • Design, develop, and maintain metrics, dashboards, and analytical tools to drive key business decisions for the IRG Supply Chain. • Uphold best practices in data integrity, accuracy, reliability, and documentation across all tools and reporting. • Provide administrative procurement support including vendor onboarding, outreach, NDA coordination, RFP management, pricing analysis, and procurement documentation. Essential Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field. • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing, sourcing, procurement, or supply chain environment. • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Odoo. • Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools like Tableau and Excel. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Experience with procurement platforms like Coupa. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience with PLM systems, preferably Siemens Team Center, and JIRA for project tracking. • Experience building Tableau dashboards for procurement and supply chain reporting. • Exposure to AI-powered analytics tools, automation scripting (Python, SQL), or machine learning applications in a supply chain context. • Familiarity with Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. • Strong analytical skills in cost modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection, and spend analytics. • Construction supply chain experience is strongly preferred. • Experience with any procurement/ERP tool (SAP Ariba, Oracle, Jaggaer) is a plus. Work EnvironmentThe work environment offers the possibility of remote work, although onsite candidates will be prioritized. The site is currently under construction and is described as a 'trailer' setting. Candidates with prior large company experience and strong communication and people skills will be well-suited for this role. This position is initially a 6-month assignment with potential for full-time employment based on performance and business need. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of North Reading, MA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $62.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
