Job Title: Senior Graphic DesignerJob DescriptionThe Senior Graphic Designer serves as a lead creative on the marketing and creative services team, driving the design and development of materials that support internal and external marketing initiatives, sales enablement, and property marketing. This role focuses on strategic communications, art direction, and the creation of high-impact documents, publications, infographics, sophisticated PowerPoint presentations, and innovative print and proposal collateral, with some HTML work as needed. The Senior Graphic Designer partners closely with business stakeholders to understand strategy, audiences, and objectives, delivering unique sales and marketing tools that push creative boundaries while remaining aligned with brand standards. The position requires collaboration with writers, other designers, graphics coordinators, and various levels of leadership, often in virtual teams distributed across different locations. Responsibilities • Lead the design and development of customized marketing deliverables that support internal and external marketing initiatives, sales enablement, and property marketing campaigns. • Participate in and initiate client team discussions to brainstorm key messages and provide thought leadership that ensures complex messages are visually and clearly communicated. • Design tailored graphical elements and visual concepts that effectively convey messages in documents, presentations, and other marketing materials. • Produce a wide range of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, offering memoranda, email campaigns, invitations, presentations, maps, stacking plans, signage, aerials, and related collateral. • Create sophisticated InDesign/e-pub and PowerPoint presentations that incorporate builds, transitions, animations, and hyperlinking for an engaging user experience. • Perform thorough quality control by proofreading copy for spelling, grammar, layout, and overall clarity, ensuring all materials are accurate, polished, and client-ready. • Provide exceptional client service by meeting deadlines, communicating proactively, and identifying issues that may affect timelines or deliverables for the team. • Collaborate closely with department management and Senior leadership to align creative output with business strategy and brand positioning. • Innovate within established brand standards and operational procedures, continually exploring new ways to elevate the visual identity and design approach. • Develop implementation plans that support new design department strategies and ensure smooth rollout of creative initiatives. • Identify opportunities to create and refine standards, procedures, and creative design tools and resources that improve efficiency and consistency. • Take full ownership of assigned projects, managing day-to-day progress, timelines, and stakeholder communication from concept through final delivery. • Provide leadership and art direction to other team members, guiding creative direction and ensuring high-quality execution across projects. • Coach and support junior designers by assisting with troubleshooting, technical execution, and creative concept development. • Work effectively with virtual teams located across different regions, maintaining strong communication and collaboration in a distributed work environment. • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, prioritizing tasks at different stages of discovery, design, and execution while meeting deadlines and service expectations. • Recommend appropriate printing methods and oversee print production processes, including developing specifications, reviewing proofs, attending press checks, and managing print-related budgets. Essential Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Art, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a closely related field. • A minimum of 6 years of prior graphics experience, preferably within a corporate environment. • Proven leadership experience in design and project management, with a demonstrated understanding of business needs and marketing objectives. • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop, with strong capability across core design applications. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with particular strength in creating advanced PowerPoint presentations. • Strong design and page layout skills, including the ability to create original graphic elements from scratch using the most appropriate applications. • Exceptional communication skills to contribute effectively in brainstorming sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams and multi-level leadership. • Excellent understanding of print and assembly production processes, including the ability to recommend printing methods and develop complete production specifications. • Experience reviewing proofs, attending press checks, and managing print budgets to ensure high-quality, cost-effective production. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. • Demonstrated ability to manage a large queue of requests and multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of development and execution. • Strong customer service orientation, consistently delivering high-quality work and responsive support to internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to provide a professional design portfolio and examples of work that showcase advanced design, layout, and presentation capabilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with Dreamweaver and HTML/HTML5 for basic web and digital content development. • Video editing and motion graphics experience, including the ability to enhance digital and presentation content with multimedia elements. • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe Creative Suite tools beyond InDesign and Photoshop. • Experience designing digital media assets such as e-publications, interactive presentations, and email campaign templates. • Familiarity with real estate marketing or experience working within a corporate environment, which is beneficial but not required. • Comfort working with virtual teams and collaborating across different locations using digital communication tools. • Demonstrated ability to innovate within existing brand guidelines and contribute to the evolution of creative standards. • Experience developing or contributing to creative procedures, standards, and design toolkits for a broader team. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, compelling visual solutions. • Willingness to mentor and coach junior designers, sharing best practices and supporting their professional growth. Work EnvironmentThis role is based in an office setting and operates within a professional corporate environment. The Senior Graphic Designer works closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and leadership, and frequently collaborates with colleagues in other locations through virtual tools and remote communication. The pace of work is fast and deadline-driven, with a high volume of concurrent projects and a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and client service. The environment emphasizes adherence to brand standards while encouraging innovation and creative problem-solving. Work typically involves extensive use of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and other design and production tools, as well as coordination with external print vendors and production partners. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
