Job Title: RecruiterJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Recruiter to join our team. This role involves screening resumes and applications, coordinating interviews, and managing new-hire orientation. The Recruiter will also maintain accurate records, support hiring events, and coordinate onboarding tasks. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Screen resumes and applications against defined hiring criteria. • Coordinate interviews, pre-employment steps, and candidate communications. • Schedule new-hire orientation and prepare orientation materials. • Maintain accurate recruiting activity records and compile weekly updates. • Support hiring events and onsite interview days. • Coordinate onboarding tasks with IT, Payroll, and Facilities. • Conduct new-hire orientations and maintain employee files. • Assist with offboarding processes and exit interview logistics. • Update HR systems and generate routine HR reports. • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and HR policies. • Provide backup support for payroll and timekeeping processes. • Uphold confidentiality and data integrity. • Coordinate training logistics and track completions. • Facilitate engagement activities and streamline workflows. • Partner across HR, Talent Acquisition, and operations to improve experiences. Essential Skills • 1-2+ years of experience in recruiting or HR within a manufacturing plant environment. • Recruiting experience in a manufacturing setting. • Proficiency with MS Office. • Familiarity with ATS/HRIS and job boards. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Effective listening and attention to detail. • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Additional Skills & Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. • Customer service and administrative support experience. • Comfortable interacting with candidates, employees, and leadership. • Ability to work effectively in a production-oriented context. Work EnvironmentThis is a full-time, 100% onsite position working closely with the HR Manager. The role operates in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment, requiring effective prioritization and action orientation to meet staffing timelines and production-driven needs. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Cleveland, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
