Job Title: Administrative Support SpecialistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist who will be responsible for providing top-tier administrative assistance and customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in dispatch, data entry, and using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Responsibilities
• Enter data from manifests into the system and ensure accuracy. • Scan, upload, and report relevant documents. • Create and update Word documents and Excel spreadsheets. • Perform general office duties including filing, opening mail, and receiving visitors. • Answer phone calls and provide assistance or direct to the appropriate department or person. • Exercise discretion and interpretive judgment with outside vendors. • Create, review, and arrange manifests into packages, and confirm destinations. • Assist Sales and Field Technical Services with paperwork, invoicing, and customer communications. • Mail and ship packages using USPS, UPS, and FEDEX, as well as stuff and seal mailings. • Communicate effectively with team members. Essential Skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent. • Minimum of 2 years experience with Excel or Microsoft Office. • Experience in customer interaction and dispatch. • Experience with spreadsheets and data entry. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in administrative support, clerical work, and front desk operations. • Ability to create shipping documents and handle general office tasks. • Previous experience working with teams. • Demonstrated ability to provide high-level customer service in various settings. Work EnvironmentThe position operates within a large company that offers opportunities for growth. The role requires working five days a week in an office environment. The candidate will engage in a mix of independent tasks and team collaborations, using standard office software and equipment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pomona, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
