Job Title: Accounts Payable SpecialistJob DescriptionWe are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial as we are currently down three team members due to retirement, a promotion, and a departure, and need someone to step in as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will focus on managing employee expenses, credit card payments, and general telecom and utilities expenses.Responsibilities

• Specialize in managing and processing employee expenses, credit card payments, and general telecom and utilities expenses. • Create and maintain spreadsheets using Excel at a basic level. • Utilize electronic scanning and file storage systems efficiently. • Handle high-volume invoice processing, up to 2,500 invoices per week. • Adapt to learning the corporate structure and understanding the roles of regional managers who approve expenses. • Perform additional duties as needed. Essential Skills

• Proficiency in accounts payable processes. • Basic Excel skills for spreadsheet creation and maintenance. • Experience with electronic scanning and file storage. • Familiarity with Adobe software. • Ability to manage high-volume invoice processing, ideally in a large company setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of general accounting principles, including debits and credits. • Preferred 2 years of accounts payable experience, though open to candidates with relevant back-office or office management experience. • Associate degree preferred but not required. Work EnvironmentThis position offers a hybrid work environment after a 90-day training period. The work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility, but you must be present before 9 AM. Our team culture is focused on flexibility and a growth mindset, providing opportunities to move to different teams. The team consists of approximately 12 members, and we value a collaborative and ever-evolving work environment. The position offers competitive benefits, including health, vision, and dental insurance, a 401k with a 6% match at 3%, and PTO that starts accruing after the first year. We also offer flexible hours to help manage PTO usage. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
