• Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM • No on-call requirements • Fully onsite position at SSM Health Ambulatory Care Center CSM (Missouri) • Provide comprehensive hearing evaluations and hearing aid services • Cochlear Implant (CI) experience preferred, but not required • Join a collaborative, patient-focused team dedicated to improving hearing health and quality of life • Anticipated start date approximately 90 days after offer acceptance due to the credentialing process. • Location: MO-SSM Health Ambulatory Care Center CSM

Job Summary: Performs audiological and vestibular function testing; develops hearing correction plans of care for patients with audiological impairments.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform diagnostic testing to assess patient's hearing and vestibular status and to determine appropriate treatment. • Develops, documents, implements and evaluates hearing correction plan. • Provides hearing device modifications. • Educates and counsels patients, caregivers and family members on treatment options and continuing care. • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. • Performs other duties as assigned.

• Master's degree in Audiology

• No experience required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors. • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. • Frequent keyboard use/data entry. • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping. • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. • Rare climbing.

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS Resuscitation Certification Requirement: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required within 90 day of employment. Other resuscitation certifications may be required dependent on department.
