About this role
• Looking for a Consultant having strong experience (at least 3 years) in procurement transformation, supply chain strategy and operations primarily
• Additional hand-on experience in operational due diligence, cost optimization, synergy assessment, large data set analysis from a Big4 or reputed strategy firm would be good to have
• Working as part of a team to deliver cost optimization, synergy/dis-synergy assessment and value capture solutions
• Support and develop business and operational strategies across procurement, supply chain, manufacturing and operations.
• Setting and executing operational analysis e.g., financial & organizational baselining, functional benchmarking, financial modelling and opportunity assessment
• Perform spend analytics, category mapping and assessments, sourcing diagnostics and supplier performance evaluations.
• Support supply chain assessments covering product portfolio & inventory optimization, supplier collaborations and supply network strategy.
• Analyze procurement effectiveness and identify savings opportunities through benchmarking and market intelligence.
• Assist in designing future-state operating models, governance frameworks and transformation roadmaps.
• Working with large (sometimes unstructured) datasets (such as freight spend or PO extracts) and analyzing them to help clients assess the impact of change
• Support and lead work-streams and analysis on engagements and taking responsibility for small teams (when required)
• Producing high quality input into deliverables (usually detailed written reports) within agreed timescales
• Working collaboratively with onshore KPMG teams in the development of and delivery of recommendations
• Assist onshore KPMG teams in business development activity, development of proposals and sector insight material
• MBA / Post Graduate degree in a related field from an accredited college/university preferably with major in Supply Chain/ Operations • Strong numerical, analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Strong excel skills for advanced data modelling is must
• Strong knowledge of SIOP, Supply Chain strategy and operations, financial statements & trial balance
• Prior working experience in performance improvement projects across procurement and supply chain domains
• Prior working experience in operational due diligence, organizational and financial baseline and synergy assessment
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks/priorities
• The ability to transform un-structured data into informative and creative outputs with minimal supervision
• Experience with large data management & visualization tools such as Alteryx / Power BI / SQL / Python / Databricks
• Strong report writing and reviewing skills, with an appropriate focus on attention to detail, conciseness and value to the client
• Experience of working in a deal environment with senior management
