Job description: To teach exceptional students according to individual education plans following adopted curriculum, instructional methods, monitoring systems.

Required qualifications, skills and experience: Bachelor's Degree and certification in Exceptional Student Education

*Incentive Pay Information: (FOR INCENTIVE PAY, APPLICANT MUST MEET ALL OF THE FOLLOWING STATE REQUIREMENTS.) • The School District shall comply with state and federal requirements of the grant proposal in order to ensure the grant's initial and potential continued funding during the one (1) year period of the grant. • All eligible Knight's Point K-8 School instructional employees shall meet the criteria for the 2026- 27 Unified School Improvement Grant (UniSIG) as established by the Florida Department of Education, including, but not limited to: o have a School District Student Growth Measure or a State Value Added Model (VAM) score of "Effective" or "Highly Effective"; o have successfully completed at least three (3) or more years of verified teaching experience; o hold Florida certification in a core subject area [e.g., Elementary, K-5; English Language Arts; Mathematics; Science; Social Studies; Reading; or Exceptional Student Education (ESE)]; • Upon meeting the eligibility criteria below and the condition of the Florida Department of Education's approval, shall receive: o Recruitment Incentive [STAA (Supplemental Teacher and Administrator Allocation] All eligible instructional employees who are hired or transfer to work at Knight's Point K-8 School no later than September 15, 2026, shall receive a supplement, not to exceed: ■ $15,000 for an eligible State VAM rating of "Highly Effective"; or ■ $7,500 for an eligible State VAM rating of "Effective."
