Proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Knowledge of mechanical codes, ASME, API, AISC specifications, productivity standards, and procurement strategies. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Complete estimate turnover, bid recap, and trade buyout strategies with operations.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Support project turnover and successful handoff to construction teams.</span> <p> </p> </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred. Equivalent mechanical trade or field experience may be considered.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Gold Seal certification in estimating required (CDN).</span></span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> <div><span style="font-size:10.0pt">8-15+ years of mechanical estimating experience.</span></div> </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> <div><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Experience leading estimates and pursuits on projects ranging from $25M to $500M+.</span></div> </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> <div><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Experience estimating industrial, power, manufacturing, energy, data center, or large industrial projects.</span></div> </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Knowledge and understanding of different construction methods, planning, scheduling, sequencing, potential problems, and timelines and is a district champion in these matters.</span></span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> <div><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Experience across hard bid/lump sum, GMP, construction management, reimbursable, and design-build delivery methods.</span></div> </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Expert in understanding and teaching contract terms for various delivery models and able to identify contract risks and opportunity.</span></span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Understands different bid processes and contract delivery type methods: Hard bid/lump sum, guaranteed maximum price (GMP), unit price, design-build, target prices and construction management/cost reimbursable.</span></span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to lead successful teams.</span></span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Resourceful and self-motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.</span></span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Strong ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with owners, peers and industry representatives, and leverage the industry relationships for a competitive advantage.</span></span></li> </ul></div></div></div><p><strong>Your Work Has Purpose Here</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>PCL projects are where life happens, where communities connect, careers begin, and progress is made.
