About this role
As an employee in furnace construction, you will mainly be involved in the maintenance of industrial ovens. Your tasks will include maintaining the ovens, cleaning trays, tidying up materials, moving equipment, bricklaying, welding, and tiling. It is important that you already have some experience, preferably in welding. Most importantly, you are always punctual and willing to perform physically demanding work. At the beginning, you will work in a two-shift schedule with working hours from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. After a proper training period, you will move to a four-shift schedule. In this schedule, you will have two consecutive days off each cycle. These days vary per week, meaning you will also regularly work on Saturdays and Sundays. It is important that you possess both a VCA certificate and a TATA pass. - You are capable of performing physically demanding work - You are always punctual and arrive well on time - You are open to a training program - You are willing to work hard and commit for the long term - You speak good English
