About this role

As a Data Scientist, you will be part of a global team supporting the development and manufacturing of innovative biologic medicines. Leveraging advanced statistics and data science, you will help optimize processes, drive scientific decision-making, and generate actionable insights from complex datasets. You will collaborate closely with experts across Manufacturing, Process Development, and Analytical Sciences to support both operational excellence and innovation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Provide statistical and data science support for process optimization, validation, monitoring, and investigations. Collect, structure, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to deliver meaningful business and scientific insights. Design and execute experimental studies (DoE) to support data-driven decision-making. Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for technical and cross-functional stakeholders. Contribute to protocols, reports, and technical documentation with significant statistical content. Act as a subject matter expert in statistics and data science, providing guidance across multiple functions. Ensure data integrity, reliability, and compliance within a regulated environment. Support digital transformation and advanced analytics initiatives across manufacturing operations. Profile Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related scientific discipline. Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry. Strong expertise in statistical methodologies and modern data science techniques. Experience with biologics development, manufacturing processes, or process development is an asset. Familiarity with GMP environments and regulatory requirements is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences. Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is considered a plus. What Can You Expect?
