Weekday Day Shift Security Guard ? Job Description
We are currently hiring professional and reliable Security Guards for weekday daytime shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, staff, visitors, and property.
Position Details
* Weekday shifts only * Day shifts * Full time and part time positions available * Locations may include commercial buildings, construction sites, retail plazas, offices, and residential properties
Responsibilities
* Perform regular patrols of the property * Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas * Observe and report suspicious activity * Complete daily activity and incident reports * Respond to alarms, emergencies, and client requests * Provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors * Enforce site rules and safety procedures * Monitor CCTV systems where applicable * Ensure all doors, gates, and access points remain secure
Requirements
* Valid Alberta Security License * Excellent communication and report writing skills * Professional appearance and attitude * Ability to work independently * Reliable transportation is an asset * Basic computer and smartphone skills * Previous security experience preferred but not required
Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
