Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Classification: Exempt- Full Time
Reports to: VP Operations

Job Role:
• Supervise a technical operations team that includes technicians and senior lead technicians.
• Support and manage direct reports in a positive team environment.
• Provide strategic planning and reporting in support of senior leadership.
• Diagnose mechanical, structural, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and use your expert knowledge to formulate effective repair solutions.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of mechanics, technicians, and engineers to identify and address complex aircraft issues.
• Foster a culture of safety by adhering to established safety protocols and promoting awareness among team members.
• Ascertain qualifications of all technical employees before work assignment.
• Monitor and advise man-hour utilization in collaboration with Production Planning and Control.
• Ensure the maintenance equipment and tools are maintained in good working order.
• Ensure the shop premises are maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
• Ensure that parts are appropriately designated, labeled, and stored as delineated in this manual.
• Establish, implement, maintain, and enforce the standards and system for completion of all maintenance records required by the regulations and customers.
• Initiate Work Orders and verify that they are maintained, stored properly, and readily accessible once the work is complete.
• Ensure that approval for return to service documentation is appropriately maintained by the repair station.
• Shipping and receiving duties as needed.
Essential Functions and Competencies:
• Ability to be on-site full time.
• Ability to attend required business meetings - in person, or video call in, as coordinated.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Google Applications.
• Must have a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and passion for aviation.
• Ability to travel on behalf of the company (acceptable driving record, valid driver’s license and car insurance, and ability to travel by air).
Required Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited aviation maintenance technician program is required.
• A valid Aircraft Mechanic License is required.
• 8+ years of aviation technician leadership experience; military or civilian required.
• Maintenance manager or leadership experience required.
• Proven experience in aircraft maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting, ideally working on a variety of aircraft models required.
• Familiarity with aircraft systems, including avionics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and powerplant required.
• Experience following technical manuals and procedures accurately required.
• Experience using electronic maintenance tracking programs is required.
• Inspector Authorization is highly desired.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work in an aircraft hangar which at times may be hot, cold, dusty, or loud.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $135,000- $160,000.00
