What will you do?
We are seeking a flexible, resilient, and enthusiastic Secondary Cover Teacher to support our vibrant secondary teaching team. This role is essential in ensuring continuity of student learning by covering lessons across various subjects in the absence of classroom teachers. The ideal candidate will maintain a focused and engaging classroom environment while supporting students’ academic development and well-being.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects for students in Secondary School, ensuring continuity and quality of learning.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that supports student engagement and well-being.
• Communicate lesson objectives clearly and guide students through activities in a structured and supportive manner.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, maintaining high expectations aligned with the school’s values and policies.
• Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher regarding student participation, behavior, and any issues encountered during the lesson.
• Supervise individual and group learning activities, encouraging collaboration, critical thinking, and active participation. Support classroom transitions and maintain a productive learning atmosphere throughout the school day.
• Assist in preparing and organizing classroom resources and materials when necessary.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and duties (e.g., supervision or cover planning) as directed by the leadership team.
• Home-room Teacher: Support students’ pastoral care and well-being, referring any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
• Adhere to all safeguarding and child protection procedures in accordance with school policy.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field (preferred).
• Recognized teaching qualification
• 2+ years of teaching or classroom experience preferred.
• Experience with the IB Middle Years Programme or other international secondary curricula is advantageous.
• Comfortable teaching across a range of secondary subjects (training or resources provided where needed).
• Fluent English proficiency (C1–C2 level
Bonus Skills/Experience
• Other languages like Russian, Ukrainian or Hebrew
• Private School Teaching experience

Working Conditions
There are 19 classes per week and the hours are 08.00-16.00 or 09.00-17,00 depending on schedules.

Recruitment process
• Panel interview including the Head of School, Secondary Principal, and Employee Success Manager (30–45 minutes).
• Onsite trial (60 minutes) or submission of teaching footage (for international candidates).
