Junior Project Manager
Job Description
AnchorzUp is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of software and digital projects. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional with around a year of hands-on project coordination experience who is eager to grow into a full project management career within a fast-paced, client-facing environment. You will work closely with software developers, marketers, and other project managers to keep projects on track, well-documented, and aligned with client expectations.
What you will do:
• Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and tracking day-to-day project activities.
• Maintain project documentation, timelines, and status reports using project management tools.
• Coordinate communication between internal teams and clients to ensure clarity on deliverables and deadlines.
• Help identify risks, blockers, or delays early and escalate them appropriately.
• Organize and take notes during client and internal meetings, ensuring action items are tracked and followed up on.
• Assist in preparing project status updates, reports, and presentations for clients and leadership.
• Monitor task progress across team members and flag capacity or resourcing issues.
• Support onboarding of new projects, including gathering requirements and setting up project workspaces.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal project management processes and templates.
What you will bring:
• Around 1 year of experience in project coordination, project management, or a related operational role, preferably within software development, digital services, or technology.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar platforms.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Nice to have:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience working on software development or digital product projects.
• Agile, Scrum or similar project management certification (completed or in progress).
