POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assistant Manager, Restaurant is responsible for the overall activities of the assigned restaurant / bar and ensure its smooth and efficient operation. To operate the outlet under the direction from the Manager as per the standard procedures and practice managerial principles, in order to achieve department goals for guest satisfaction, financial targets and training and high employee morale.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand the Assigned Outlet service standard, the product knowledge and the management policy orientation • Plan and supervise the restaurant day to day operations in order to contribute to the enjoyment of our guests • Recommend, plan and organize special events in the restaurant to enhance Customer satisfaction as well as improving awareness and profitability of the outlet. • Evaluate cost effectiveness of all aspects of operation. Forecast covers and revenues, while controlling relevant cost, minimize loss and misuse in order to achieve and exceed the outlet budgeted profitability. • Responsible for coaching directly the supervisor and captain as well as the other members of staff • Guaranteed staff to carry out assigned works in line with standard, company's rule, policy and procedure. Clearly pass important messages and information to all staff over daily briefing or meeting or log book • Actively seek feedback and liaise with guests • Responsible for coaching directly the supervisor and captain as well as the other members of staff • Guaranteed staff to carry out assigned works in line with standard, company's rule, policy and procedure. Clearly pass important messages and information to all staff over daily briefing or meeting or log book • Actively seek feedback and liaise with guests • Coordinate coverage of sections to ensure smooth service • Handle / check / report all comments and complaints from guest with tactful skill, • Perform regular and ongoing checks for cleaning task and maintenance • Has a awareness of stock levels and rate of depletion, replenish stock • Perform monthly training for all staff to be able to carry out the functions of their jobs and supervises their progress • Required to deal with on a regular basis in accordance with the company SOP and issuing tip. • Response to the needs of casino operations adjusted • Keep communication with the casino Pit Manager and Casino Marketing. • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures • Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to supervisors • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

• Minimum 2 year of F&B service experience in 5 star international hotel / resorts • Supervisory / Management experience in a five star restaurant environment Education

• Minimum certificate in Hospitality or Business Management

Skills / Competencies

• Proficient in Microsoft Application

Advantageous Skills

• Casino hotel experience is an advantage
