This role will lead the design and delivery of a programme enabling biomedical science students to transition into medicine based on high performance in Years 1 and 2, assessed through a standardised selection process. Selected students will enter a bespoke transition year before joining Year 3 of the undergraduate medical degree with credible prior learning and graduating as medical practitioners after a further three years of study on the BMBS programme.

As Senior Lecturer in Medical Education (APL lead) you can expect to be involved in:

Co-ordinating all aspects of preparation for the inaugural delivery of the transition year, taking learner, academic and regulatory needs into account. Enabling a smooth transition for selected students from Biomedical Science to the BM BS programme.
