Job summary This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced care professional to join the Agincare team as a Senior Night Care Assistant at Trafalgar care home in Weymouth. You will be responsible for providing person-centred care, administering medication, and leading social activities. Main duties of the job As a Senior Night Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and supportive care to residents during the night shift. This includes personal care, medication administration, contributing to care reviews, and leading social activities within the home. You will also have the opportunity to support and develop new or existing staff members.

Person-centred care - You will ensure that residents receive personal care from you and your team including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences, and actively promote right to choice and independence Review -You will contribute to and carry out care reviews with your residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs. Medication - You will administer residents' medication in a safe and supportive and compliant way Social Activity - You will lead in and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home. Leadership - you may support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called up on to lead the home where more senior managers are not available.About Agincare

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
You will need a minimum of 12 months' right to work in the UK, an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, and either an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or be working towards it. Full-time availability for 42-hour night shifts is required.
