Main duties of the job As a Housekeeper at the Victory care home, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the communal areas and residents' bedrooms. This involves tasks such as dusting, polishing, and vacuuming, as well as collaborating with the home management team to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. You will also have the opportunity to provide support, communication, and engagement to the residents, fostering a caring and compassionate environment.

A minimum of 12 months on your right to work Previous experience in a domestic or housekeeping role is desirable butnot essential A good understanding of the importance of excellent infection control and the ability to work to a high standard, managing multiple tasks. Good people skills and the ability to show strongempathy, with a caring andcompassionate nature This is a Housekeeper role working 16 hours per week from 9am to 3pm on a two week rolling rota to include alternative weekends Shift Pattern: Week 1 Wednesday and Friday Week 2 Tuesday, Saturday and SundayA day in the life of a Housekeeper
Communal cleaning ensure thecommunal areas are kept clean and safe for residents and employees Domestic tasks -dust, polish and vacuum residents bedrooms thoroughly and ensuring use of appropriate warning signs when required Collaboration - work closely with the home management team to ensure the home meets the standards of hygiene and cleanliness Companionship- Providesupport, communication and engagement to residents.About Agincare

Qualifications Essential
