Job summary The role of an Activities Co-Ordinator is to plan and coordinate engaging activities for residents in a 56-bedded residential, nursing, and dementia care home. The candidate should have a passion for enhancing the lives of the residents through stimulating and fun activities that cater to their diverse interests and needs.

Main duties of the job The Activities Co-Ordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive activities program, including individual and group activities, outings, and events. They will work closely with the care team to understand the residents' needs and preferences, and tailor the activities accordingly. The role also involves ensuring the activities are well-planned, resourced, and delivered effectively to provide a positive and enriching experience for the residents.

Activities Co-Ordinator Part Time, 12 hours per week - 2 x 6 hour shifts to support at weekends £12.90 per hour

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

No specific qualifications are required, but the ideal candidate should have experience in delivering engaging and meaningful activities for older adults, particularly those with dementia or other care needs. Strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for the residents are essential.
