About this role
The Learning & Development Coordinator at The Plaza Residences part of AYANA Hospitality plays a key role in identifying, designing, and implementing effective training programs to enhance employee skills and performance across the organization. This role involves collaborating with department heads to assess training needs, coordinating learning activities, and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities include managing training schedules, monitoring program effectiveness, and supporting continuous learning culture within the hospitality environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinating training schedules, booking venues, managing audio-visual equipment and communicating with participantsCollaborating with managers to identify training needs and skill gaps, and planning programs to address themAssisting in the design and preparation of training materials, presentations and job aidsUtilizing Learning Management System (LMS) to track attendance, maintain training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirement Collecting participant feedback, generating training reports and effectiveness for managementLiaising with external training provider and facilitatorEnsure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in learning and development or related field, preferably in the hospitality industryStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in English and computer literateExperience in coordinating and delivering training programsAbility to assess training needs and develop appropriate learning solutionsExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesCreative thinker with ability to work both independently and collaborativelyProficient in content creation tools (e.g., Canva) to develop training materials and internal communication
