English Valleys CSD is looking for a Full-Time Preschool Paraeducator for the 2026-2027 School Year! English Valleys is based out of North English, Iowa, which is approx. 30 minutes West of the Coralville/Iowa City area. The ideal candidate will support early childhood teachers by fostering a safe, nurtuing environment and assisting with instruction, behavior management , and daily routines for children aged 3-5. Key duties include implementing teacher-led interventions, supervising play/meals, and supporting developmental growth. A paraeducator certificate is preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities
• Instructional Support: Assisting with small group activities, prepping materials, and reinforcing lessons for cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Behavior and Supervision: Implementing positive behavior strategies, managing classroom routines, and supervising students during recess, meals, and bus transitions.
• Personal Care: Assisting with toileting, feeding, and basic health needs.
• Documentation: Tracking student data, including observations and progress monitoring.
• Safety and Environment: Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom setup.
