POSTING of VACANCY Specialized Transportation Bus Aide for 1:1 Student Falmouth High School 2026-2027 School Year AM and PM Shifts on school transportation, hours may vary 2 mornings and afternoons Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.

• Ability and desire to work with children with special needs.

• Ability to take direction from and work under the supervision of school staff

• Willing to be delegated to administer emergency medication to a student

• Safety Care, CPR and first aid training preferred or willing to be trained.

• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide 1:1 care during school bus transportation

• Monitor and respond to seizure-related medical needs

• Responsible for administering seizure medications as prescribed by the student's physician, following the Emergency Action Plan

• Collaborate with school based team to maintain continuity and quality of care

• Follow an AM or PM shift or alternate on a set schedule

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with bus drivers, school staff, and parents/guardians

• Document any incidents, medical concerns, or medication administration in accordance with school policies and procedures
